emily chang on asian america’s summit beginnings

3 Mar

i remember being on stage at the very first summit and looking into the sea of beautiful brown and yellow faces. back then, i had no idea these were the folks that would, over the next ten years, become some of the greatest leaders, thinkers, writers, artists, bloggers, musicians, and activists in asian america. ten years later, almost every time i meet someone doing something big or important in the APA community, without a doubt it goes back to the summit and the ideas that were generated there.

emily c. chang is a founding member of i was born with 2 tongues/mango tribe, who is now a writer/actor/facebook procrastinator extraordinaire.
